Everyone on the editorial team has a fixed desk. When a real task is running, their desk lights up with their name and what they're doing. Without one, they head to the kitchen or the lounge instead — and whenever the team holds an internal quality conference, they gather in the meeting room.

Desk activity is real: some comes from the automated editorial pipeline (runs twice a day), some from manual actions in the editorial system — when an article is reviewed, revised, translated, illustrated, or a LinkedIn post is created, the responsible person visibly gets to work. The meeting room reflects a real but rare, manually-triggered internal editorial conference. Either way, only generic task labels or phases are shown, never article titles or unpublished content.
